The Dallas Woman’s Forum, Alexander Mansion has long been a Dallas favorite for weddings and receptions.
The stately mansion at 4607 Ross Avenue is one of the very few architecturally authentic buildings remaining in our city. Originally built in 1904 by Charles H. Alexander at a cost of $125,000.00, this dignified home is exceptionally well-proportioned of English-inspired architecture with a neoclassical influence.
The house has both a Bride’s room and a Groom’s room for the convenience of the wedding party.
The ballroom will seat 100 guests comfortably with a dance floor. The entire house will easily accommodate 150-175 guests.
We have an approved caterers list and we do allow you to bring your own alcoholic beverages to be served by a TABC-certified bartender on the caterer’s staff.
Weddings/Receptions: $3,500 for a four (4) hour event. It also includes two (2) hours set up and one (1) hour take down. Overtime is available at $125 per hour.
Photographers: You may reserve the Alexander Mansion for a photo session with your client. For example, engagement photos, bridal portraits, family photography, etc. $125 per hour, with a two (2) hour minimum.
All prices subject to change. Official price is given upon reservation.
Rental fees include Caterer’s use of china, silverware, glassware, tables, and chairs.
Deposit: A $500 damage deposit is required 30 days in advance of the event. The deposit will be refunded if Mansion and grounds are left as they were found.
Security: A security officer is required to be onsite for all evening events. Officer fees are charged at a rate of $42 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours.
